Description: Salvia officinalis from the Ladiatae family is also known as 'garden', 'true' and 'Dalmatian' sage. Common sage is an evergreen perennial herb that can grow up to about 60cm high with a woody base, soft gray-green oval leaves and a mass of blue or violet flowers.

History: Sage has been used in various cultures for its spiritual and purifying properties. Burning sage leaves or using sage essential oil in rituals and ceremonies is believed to cleanse negative energies and promote positive energy flow.

Aromatherapy: Sage essential oil is often used in aromatherapy due to its earthy and herbaceous scent. Inhaling the aroma of sage oil may promote relaxation, reduce stress, and create a calming environment.

Safety data: Sage is a powerful oil  and should be used with care. It is an oral toxin and should not be used during pregnancy, or by persons suffering from epilepsy or high blood pressure.

Our essential oils come in amber glass bottles with dripulator caps:
5ml and 20ml with an 18 neck dripulator cap, either white or black, depending on stock availability.
30ml, 50ml, 100ml, 250ml, with a 28 neck white dripulator cap (except for oils that are too thick for a dripulator, which have a black open pour cap).
500g and 1kg options come in an aluminium bottle; 5L comes in a plastic jerrycan.
If you need precise drops for your products we suggest you buy our 5ml or 20ml dropper bottles and transfer the oils or buy our disposable or glass pipettes
