Common uses: Kanuka was used originally by the Maori people of New Zealand.

Aromatherapy: Like many essential oils, kanuka oil is used in aromatherapy to create a pleasant and calming ambiance. Inhaling the aroma of kanuka essential oil may help reduce stress, promote relaxation, and uplift mood.

Natural cleaning: Kanuka oil has potential antibacterial and antifungal properties, making it an ingredient for natural cleaning solutions. It can be added to homemade cleaning products to help disinfect surfaces and eliminate unwanted odours.

Air freshener: The pleasant and refreshing scent of kanuka essential oil can be used to create natural air fresheners. It can be added to diffusers, potpourri, or even homemade linen sprays to infuse spaces with a soothing aroma.

Insect repellent: Kanuka oil contains compounds that are believed to repel insects. It can be used to make natural insect repellents to deter bugs and mosquitoes.

Home spa experience: Adding a few drops of kanuka essential oil to a warm bath can create a relaxing and therapeutic experience. The oil's aroma and potential skin benefits can contribute to a soothing soak.

Safety data: Very potent and not to be used on sensitive skin. Avoid use during pregnancy.
