Grape seed oil is obtained from the seeds of the grapes which contain a drying oil that has excellent spreadability on the skin and penetrates quickly, leaving no oily residue.
Grape seed oil is particularly high in linoleic acid, which provides moisture to the skin without weighing it down. It can help to fortify and protect the skin’s barrier against free radicals which lead to signs of premature ageing and is said to improve the feel of skin softness and elasticity.
Usage levels: lotions and creams 3-5%; soaps 3-8%; conditioners 2-5%; massage oil 5-100%.
