Description: The blue mallee, or blue-leaved mallee is found the Mallee regions of Victoria and NSW.
Colour: clear to pale yellow
Common uses: Organic eucalyptus essential oil is a wonderful oil to be used on skin ailments such as burns, skin infections, insect bites and lice and has also been known to fight effects of colds and flu. Blue Mallee eucalyptus oil is considered the strongest of all the eucalyptus oils in terms of its antiseptic properties.

Blends well with: basil, cajeput, cedarwood, citronella, frankincense, ginger, lavender, lemon, myrtle, spearmint and teatree.
Aromatic scent: Organic Eucalyptus Blue Mallee has a crisp, fresh scent, resembling camphor with a faint peppermint undertone.
History: Aborigines used eucalyptus for medicinal purposes such as warding off fever. In the First World War eucalyptus was used as medicine against meningitis.
Cautions: Eucalyptus Blue Mallee oil should be diluted and should not be taken internally or used during pregnancy. It should also be avoided by sufferers of high blood pressure or epilepsy.
