The New Zealand native kawakawa plant has a long history of traditional use for relieving the pain and inflammation associated with cuts, abrasions, wounds, bruises, burns, and body aches. 
Science now tells us this is because of the anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic and antiseptic properties that kawakawa contains.

As an analgesic and warming circulatory stimulant, kawakawa is especially beneficial in the relief of chilblains, neuralgia and rheumatism.

The aromatic volatile oils in kawakawa provide a beautiful unique scent to this product, and give kawakawa its insect repellant properties.

Useful alone or blended into creams, lotions, soaps and cleansers.
