Salicylic acid is used in many skin-care products for the treatment of dandruff, acne, psoriasis, calluses, corns and warts.
It works by causing the cells of the epidermis to shed more readily, opening clogged pores and neutralising bacteria.

Usage: add to the oil phase
0.5 to 1.0% for sensitive skin products
2.0% for active treatment products
