This unscented  liquid castile soap base is made by Go Native.
It is made with water, NZ olive oil and coconut oil, along with potassium hydroxide to saponify it and sodium borate to neutralise it.
As natural as a liquid soap can be and very soothing for the skin.


With the addition of essential oils for perfume, the base will get thicker. So just add water, herbal extracts, or aloe vera juice to adjust it to the thickness you want.
Each essential oil will react differently, some making it much thicker, others only slightly. Variations in colour will also occur.
Can also be used as a shampoo and shower gel.

Add essential oil at about 0.5% to 1% (1-2 tsp per kilo of base).
