My day usually begins with... being slapped in the face by my one and a half year old son Charlie...and ends with... hopefully (if the baby has gone to sleep) a glass of wine while I fall asleep 10 min into whatever we are watching on Netflix.

How long have you been part of the Go Native team?

I started with Go Native in October 2018. 

What's something people would be surprised to learn about your job?

Apart from smelling wonderful all the time, I have had to brush up on my New Zealand geography! Sending packages all around the country, you need to know what ticket goes to what part of New Zealand. Still working on this one! 

When did you first discover the joys of making your own beauty products? 

After having my son and also having 3 step children, you are more aware of what is in all the products you put on yourself and the kids. Having started with Go Native has been a great way for me to learn and create my own products to use on the whole family. 

Ingredient you're currently loving? 

I love the shea butters and hydrosols.

And recipe?

I've been trying to stay away from using so many plastic bottles, so the shampoo and conditioner bars are on my to do list of recipes.

And - because we all love a recommendation - are you binge-watching/listening/reading anything good at the moment?

I've just finished watching After Life by Ricky Gervais on Netflix. I laughed, I cried ( A lot). It is wonderful, watch it!

Tell us something we'd be surprised to know about you?

I have a degree in early childhood education.
