How to make gingerbread hand cream

An easy-to-make hand wash and lotion set that's almost good enough to eat.
  
Our versatile ready-made cosmetic bases are designed to be customised with imaginative additions, from essential oil blends to colourful clays and exfoliants. 

To make this easy, autumnal hand wash and lotion set, we took two of our most popular ready-made products: our handmade castile soap base and light moisturiser cream, and fragranced them with a blend of essential oils. 

Gingerbread hand wash
(Makes 250g)

240g castille soap 
8 drops each ginger and cassia essential oils
6 drops clove bud essential oil
(Or buy our 30ml ready-made Gingerbread essential oil blend here and use 15-20 drops)
Amber glass bottle, 250ml
Lotion pump

Mix soap and essential oils in bowl.Funnel into 250ml glass bottle and add lotion pump. Customise the bottle with a homemade label or ribbon!

Gingerbread hand lotion
(Makes 250g)

240g light moisturiser cream 
5 drops each ginger and cassia essential oil
3 drops clove bud essential oil
(Or buy our 30ml ready-made Gingerbread essential oil blend here and use 10-15 drops)
Amber glass bottle, 250ml
Lotion pump

Repeat method as above. You may need to tap the bottle down onto a hard surface covered with a towel to encourage the cream to flow into the bottle from the funnel.
