Description: The lemon eucalyptus tree can grow over 80m tall. Younger trees have bluish-green leaves but as the trees mature they develop long, narrow, more yellow leaves and creamy-white flowers.

Colour: clear to yellow

Common uses: Eucalyptus lemon essential oil is generally thought help with such ailments as arthritis, bronchitis, coughing, flu and poor circulation. Can be used in a chest balm to help with breathing difficulties during cold and flu season.

Blends well with: basil, cajeput, cedarwood, citronella, frankincense, ginger, lavender, lemon, myrtle, spearmint and teatree.

Aromatic scent: Lemon eucalyptus essential oil has a scent resembling camphor with a sweet, citrus undertone.

History: Lemon eucalyptus has been used for over a 100 years to fight cold and flu symptoms along with sinus issues.

Cautions: Eucalyptus lemon oil should be diluted and should not be taken internally or used during pregnancy. It should also be avoided by sufferers of high blood pressure or epilepsy.
