Carrot seed essential oil is said to have anti-fungal, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Helping to fight topical bacteria which can grow on skin and cause skin irritations or infections such as acne and eczema, as well as helping to soothe irritated skin and scalp.

It is also said to have antioxidant properties which can help to even out skin tone and hyperpigmentation as well as rejuvenate and refresh dull skin.

It is often used in topical products such as facial cleansers, serums, dark spot treatments and hair care products to help soothe and nourish a dry scalp.
