Common uses

Aromatherapy: Tangerine essential oil has a sweet and uplifting aroma that can create a pleasant atmosphere in your home or workspace. The scent is believed by some to help improve mood, increase positivity, and create a sense of joy and relaxation.

Air freshener: Tangerine essential oil can be used to naturally scent indoor spaces. Adding a few drops to a diffuser or creating a DIY room spray may help eliminate odours and create a fresh and inviting environment.

Cleaning agent: Some people use tangerine essential oil as a natural cleaning agent due to its pleasant scent and potential antibacterial properties. Adding a few drops to homemade cleaning solutions might provide a fresh aroma while cleaning surfaces.

Insect repellent: The citrusy scent of tangerine essential oil may help repel certain insects. Adding a few drops to a carrier oil and applying it to your skin or diffusing it indoors could potentially help keep insects at bay.

Sensory stimulation: The scent of tangerine essential oil can stimulate the senses and provide a refreshing and invigorating experience. Some people enjoy the sensory delight of inhaling the aroma during mindfulness practices or moments of relaxation.

Crafts: Tangerine essential oil can be incorporated into various DIY projects, such as making scented candles, bath salts, or potpourri. These creations can add a touch of natural fragrance to your living spaces.

Safety data: Very potent and not to be used on sensitive skin. Avoid use during pregnancy.
