About hydrosols
Hydrosols are the pure co-product of the steam distillation of plant material. When essential oils are extracted through steam distillation, the leftover aromatic water contains tiny droplets of oil and water-soluble compounds not found in the essential oil.
Hydrosols are gentle, making them ideal for direct use on skin or as a substitute for distilled water in formulations.
