Mānuka Hydroethanolic Extract, NZ
Water-based hydroethanolic extract
Mānuka (often referred to as New Zealand tea tree) is a small native tree that grows abundantly throughout Aotearoa. It plays an important ecological role as a nursery plant, providing shelter for regenerating forest seedlings, native orchids, and other small plants.
In traditional Māori medicine (rongoā), mānuka leaves and bark were used in infusions, vapour baths, and topical applications to help soothe and support the skin.
As a skincare ingredient, our NZ-grown, spray-free mānuka hydroethanolic extract is valued for its natural botanical compounds and is suited to a wide range of DIY formulations. It can be incorporated into products such as toners, facial mists, serums, gels, and creams, especially in recipes designed to support skin clarity and balance.
