High in vitamin E and linoleic acid, which play central roles in creating a healthy skin barrier, important for dry and damaged skin.
Milk thistle is a member of the Asteraceae plant family, a family which includes the daisy and sunflower. One of the active components in milk thistle seed oil is silymarin, which offers kskin calming benefits and is said to help protect skin from environmental aggressors and the visible effects of UV light exposure (though is not a substitute for broad spectrum sunscreen).

Also said to help lighten hyperpigmentation and red spots, balance oil production and promote skin elasticity and firmness, helping to smooth fine lines and wrinkles.

A neutral oil in colour and odour, which blends well with other oils.
