Bentonite Clay Mask

Bentonite Clay Mask
Bentonite clay is highly regarded for its ability to deeply cleanse and detoxify the skin. It absorbs excess oils, impurities, and toxins, making it particularly effective for oily and acne-prone skin.
When mixed with water, bentonite clay has a unique swelling property that allows it to draw out dirt and grime from deep within the pores, helping to prevent breakouts and improve skin clarity. Its soothing properties also make it beneficial for calming irritated or inflamed skin, while its tightening effect helps to tone the skin, leading to a smoother, more refined complexion.
When bentonite clay is combined with apple cider vinegar, the result is an even more powerful skincare treatment. The acidic nature of apple cider vinegar enhances the clay’s ability to absorb excess oil and draw out impurities, while also balancing the skin’s pH and boosting exfoliation. This mixture can tighten pores, reduce blemishes, and promote a clearer, smoother complexion. However, due to the vinegar's acidity, it’s important to patch-test the mixture first and consider diluting the vinegar with water, especially for sensitive skin, to avoid irritation.

To Use
- Cleanse: Remove any makeup, dirt, or oils from your skin.
- Apply: Use a clean brush or your fingers to spread a thin, even layer of the mask onto your face. Start at your upper neck and work your way up. You can use your ring finger near your eyes because it's less likely to pull your skin.
- Dry: Let the mask dry for 10 - 15 minutes. The mask will absorb oils, impurities, and dead skin.
- Rinse: Use lukewarm water to remove the mask. Warm water is less drying than hot water. It's easy to wash off in the shower.
- Moisturise: Apply a moisturiser that suits your skin type. Moisturiser helps replenish the hydration that the mask may have removed. It also seals in the active ingredients from the mask so they don't evaporate.
