Bergamot essential oil, certified organic

Bergamot essential oil is cold pressed from the peel of the Citrus bergamia fruit and is prized for its fresh, bright citrus aroma with subtle floral undertones. The oil takes its name from the Italian city of Bergamo, where it was first traded commercially, and has a long history of use in fragrance and traditional Italian applications.

This certified organic bergamot oil is a popular top note in natural perfumery, valued for its ability to lift blends and add a clean, vibrant citrus character. Its aroma is often described as both uplifting and softly calming, making it a versatile choice across perfumery, skincare and home fragrance formulations.

Cold pressing preserves the oil’s characteristic scent profile, resulting in a clear to pale green liquid with a fresh, fruity fragrance that blends beautifully with florals, herbs and woods.
