Black Pigment (Carbon Black)
Carbon Black is a synthetic black pigment that delivers exceptional depth and intensity in cosmetic formulations. With its very fine particle size (0.2μm), it produces a rich, opaque black that is especially effective in eyeliners, mascaras, and brow products.
Compared to Black Iron Oxide, Carbon Black provides a blacker, deeper tone, making it the preferred choice when maximum intensity is required. Because of its strong colouring power, only a very small amount is needed to achieve visible results.
Carbon Black is widely used in cosmetic colour formulations and is considered safe for approved applications. As with all strong pigments, it should be handled with care, following safe cosmetic-use practices.
