Our high oleic sunflower oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of Helianthus annuus grown in New Zealand. With a mild, neutral scent and lightweight texture, this versatile oil has been valued in both traditional practice and modern skincare for its gentle, non-comedogenic profile.

Compared to standard sunflower oil, the high oleic variety contains a greater concentration of oleic acid (omega-9), which improves stability and extends shelf life. This makes it an excellent choice for formulations that require both performance and freshness. Smooth and easily absorbed, it nourishes without leaving a greasy residue and is suitable for most skin types, including oily, sensitive, and mature.

Sunflower oil is rich in naturally occurring vitamins and essential fatty acids that support the skin’s barrier function, helping to maintain softness and hydration. In haircare, it is often used to condition both the scalp and hair strands, promoting smoothness and shine without weighing hair down.
