Common uses

Aromatherapy: Yarrow essential oil is known for its earthy, herbaceous scent. Many people find the aroma to be calming and grounding, making it a popular choice for aromatherapy to promote relaxation and reduce stress.

Air freshener: Due to its pleasant fragrance, yarrow essential oil can be used to create homemade air fresheners, room sprays, or diffuser blends. These can help improve the ambiance of a space and mask unwanted odours.

Spiritual and energetic uses: In various holistic and spiritual practices, yarrow is believed to have protective and cleansing properties. Yarrow essential oil may be used in rituals, meditations, or ceremonies to create a sense of purification and energy balancing.

Insect repellent: Yarrow essential oil contains compounds that are thought to have insect-repelling properties. While its effectiveness as a standalone insect repellent might be limited, it could be used as a part of a natural insect repellent blend.

Potpourri and sachets: A few drops of yarrow essential oil can be added to potpourri mixes or sachets to create fragrant decorations for closets, drawers, and living spaces.

Safety data: Avoid during pregnancy; skin irritant (dilute before using externally); may trigger epileptic seizures in susceptible individuals.
