Cocoa butter is a rich, naturally occurring vegetable butter derived from cocoa beans. Known for its exceptional stability and naturally long shelf life, cocoa butter is widely used in skincare formulations where a firm structure and nourishing skin feel are desired.
Solid at room temperature but melting on contact with the skin, cocoa butter is commonly used in lip balms, body butters, creams and soaps.
This unrefined cocoa butter retains its natural chocolate aroma, making it ideal for formulations where the characteristic cocoa scent is desired.

Cocoa butter is widely used in natural skincare and cosmetic formulations where a rich, stable butter is required. Its relatively high melting point helps provide structure while delivering a smooth skin feel.

Creams and lotions
It can be used at low percentages to add structure to emulsions, or at higher percentages in anhydrous balms and body butters.
