A natural, certified organic oil obtained from the seeds of the sacha inchi plant from Peru.
Said to be a regenerative rich plant oil, containing high levels of polyunsaturated fatty acids omega 3 and omega 6. In fact it has an ideal balance of omega 3 and omega 6 (1.4 to 1), most oils have more omega 6 than omega 3. It also contains omega 9 and a high concentration of tocopherols. These nutrients are said to help even out skin tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Sacha inchi oil is believed to help regenerate the structure of skin and support the skin barrier, thus reducing trans epidermal water loss. It is generally suitable for sensitive skin and has a low comedogenic rating, which means it won’t clog pores. It is also reported to help balance skin’s natural oil production, making it a great addition to any day time or night-time product.
The oil is extracted without the use of chemicals or solvents at low temperatures preserving the essential fatty acids, vitamins and nutritional properties. The oil is then filtered, leaving a bright golden yellow coloured liquid with a characteristic aroma.

Our carrier oils come in amber glass bottles with 28mm neck in volumes:
30ml, 50ml, 100ml, *250ml.
Larger volumes must be packaged in plastic as glass becomes too dangerous to ship.
500ml: Amber PET plastic bottle with 28mm neck.
1L and 5L: PET white plastic jerrycans.
*on occasion, i.e. when ordered alone, 250ml may be packaged in PET amber plastic to save on shipping costs.
