Beeswax pellets, NZ, yellow
These New Zealand–sourced beeswax pellets are a versatile, natural wax commonly used to thicken, stabilise, and structure oil-based formulations. With a soft honey aroma and a smooth melt profile, they are well suited to balms, salves, solid perfumes, lip products, and ointments where firmness and glide are important.
The pelletised format allows for easy weighing, consistent melting, and precise formulation control.
Characteristics
This beeswax ranges from light yellow to deeper golden tones, reflecting natural variation between batches. It has a fine-grain, matt fracture and becomes soft and pliable when warmed by hand. The aroma is faint and naturally honey-like. Beeswax is practically insoluble in water and fully soluble in fixed and volatile oils.
Processing
Pure crude cappings beeswax is gently melted over clean, untreated bore water and allowed to settle naturally. The molten wax is then micro-filtered to remove all remaining dross before being passed through a pelletising machine. No bleaching or chemical treatments are used.
