Our D-panthenol is a synthetically derived, palm oil free, pourable liquid. It is 75% pure, GMO free, and produced from D-pantolactone and 3-aminopropanol.
Also known as Provitamin B5, D-panthenol is a water-soluble ingredient widely used in haircare and skincare formulations. It is easily absorbed, supports hydration, and is regarded as safe and non-toxic.
In haircare, D-panthenol is said to attract moisture from the air, bind to hair follicles, and coat the hair shaft. This can leave hair feeling smooth and conditioned without greasiness, and may also enhance shine.
