Deodorant Pack
Make your own natural deodorant using simple, effective ingredients.
This pack contains everything you need to create three large kraft tube deodorants. Formulated with magnesium hydroxide, a gentle, alkaline ingredient that helps balance the underarm environment and neutralise odour-causing bacteria on the skin’s surface. Unlike antiperspirants, this recipe does not block sweat, instead supporting a fresher underarm feel using natural ingredients and optional essential oils.

- Organic shea butter
- Organic carnauba wax
- Magnesium hydroxide
- Arrowroot powder
- White kaolin clay
- Coco caprylate
- Lactic acid
- Optional essential oil
Everything is measured out and ready to go, making this an easy, satisfying DIY project suitable for beginners and experienced makers alike.
Please note: Due to the current global cocoa butter shortage, we are temporarily using natural (non-deodorised) cocoa butter in this kit. While the percentage in the formula is not high, the natural cocoa aroma may subtly influence or compete with added essential oils or fragrance oils. Most customers enjoy the soft chocolate scent, but it’s worth keeping in mind when choosing your fragrance.
How to make
Step 1
Melt together:
• 68g Organic cocoa butter
• 68g Organic shea butter
• 20g Organic carnauba wax
Step 2
Add and stir until smooth:
• 40g Magnesium hydroxide
• 40g Arrowroot powder
• 15g White kaolin clay
Step 3
Leave to cool slightly, then add:
• 68g Coco caprylate
• 5g Lactic acid
• 5g Essential oil (optional)
Pour into tubes and leave to set. Once firm, top up if needed.
Packaging Notes
This formulation has been tested to push up well in kraft tubes, however ease of use may vary depending on temperature and climate. If needed, gently warm the outside of the tube with a hairdryer or wrap in a warm flannel to soften the sides before pushing up.
