Gold Satin Mica
Gold Satin mica is a fine-particle pigment that produces an elegant, pearlescent gold sheen. With its small particle size (<15μm), it creates a smooth satin finish rather than a glitter effect, giving cosmetics and soaps a rich, intense golden glow. It’s perfect for highlighters, eyeshadows, bronzers, and for brushing onto finished soaps for a refined metallic look.
Mica is a fine mineral powder that reflects light to create a pearlescent effect on the skin. Gold Satin mica is made by coating natural mica flakes with titanium dioxide, tin dioxide, and iron oxide. The finer particle size results in a satin effect — more concentrated and opaque than sparkle micas, but without the glittery shine.
In clear M&P soap, Gold Satin mica produces deep golden tones with a luxurious shimmer. In opaque soaps, the effect is softer, but swirls or surface brushing can still create beautiful highlights. Its silky finish makes it especially popular for use in both makeup formulations and decorative soap designs.
