Green Fairy Mica
Green Fairy mica is a vivid, bright green pigment that brings bold shimmer and lively colour to cosmetics and soaps. Its striking tone makes it an excellent choice for eyeshadows, creative makeup looks, and decorative soap designs where a pop of sparkling green is desired.
Mica is a fine mineral powder that reflects light to create a pearlescent effect on the skin. It is produced by coating natural mica flakes with metal oxides such as titanium dioxide, iron oxide, or zirconium dioxide. The final shade depends on the thickness of these oxide layers, giving each mica its unique character.
Particle size also affects the finish: smaller particles create a silky satin sheen, while larger ones enhance sparkle and glitter. In clear M&P soap, Green Fairy mica is especially vibrant, producing dazzling green tones that shift with the light. In opaque soaps, the shimmer is softer but can still create stunning swirled or brushed-on highlights.
