Kawakawa Hydrosol, NZ, Spray Free
Preservative free.
Kawakawa hydrosol is steam distilled from the leaves and terminal branches of the native Aotearoa New Zealand kawakawa plant (Macropiper excelsum), sourced from regenerating bush near Whangaroa Harbour.
Naturally gentle, kawakawa hydrosol is a great option for delicate or reactive skin. It can be used as a daily facial mist or toner, offering light hydration while helping to refresh and calm the skin. Its mild astringency may also support the appearance of balanced, healthy skin.
With its subtly herbaceous scent and skin-friendly properties, kawakawa hydrosol is a versatile choice for DIY skincare, or used on its own as a cooling mist or calming spritz.
About hydrosols
Hydrosols are the aromatic waters produced during the steam distillation of plants. They contain water-soluble plant compounds not found in essential oils, as well as micro-drops of essential oil. These gentle extracts can be used directly on the skin or as part of skincare formulations.
Hydrosols are commonly used in place of water in creams and lotions, as facial toners, room sprays, linen mists and more.
