Liquid Shampoo Pack
Make your own natural liquid shampoo at home with this easy, refill-style DIY pack. Designed for repeat makers, this pack produces approximately 2kg of high-quality liquid shampoo using gentle, plant-based surfactants commonly found in modern natural formulations.
This pack includes everything you need except water and is ideal if you already have basic equipment and want a simple, reliable shampoo base you can customise with your preferred scent.

What You’ll Need at Home
- Saucepan with at least 3L capacity
- Containers or bottles for the finished shampoo

Step 1
- Decyl Glucoside
- Coco Glucoside & Glyceryl Oleate
- Microcare DB (preservative)
- Chosen essential oil or fragrance
Step 2

Method
- Gently heat 2 cups of water in a saucepan.
- Add the Step 1 and Step 2 ingredients, stirring until fully combined.
- Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool.
- Leave the shampoo to rest for 24 hours, allowing the texture to fully develop.
- Adjust thickness if required by stirring in a small amount of additional water.
- Pour into containers and your shampoo is ready to use.

Decyl Glucoside
A mild, plant-derived surfactant known for gentle cleansing and suitability for everyday shampoo use.
Lauryl Glucoside
A sugar-based surfactant that enhances cleansing power and viscosity while remaining gentle on the scalp and hair.
Coco Glucoside & Glyceryl Oleate
A conditioning surfactant blend that helps improve hair feel and manageability, supporting softness without stripping.
Microcare DB
An Ecocert-approved broad-spectrum preservative suitable for water-based formulations.
Essential Oil or Fragrance
Provides scent to the finished shampoo. Choose according to preference and intended use.
