Orange Mica
Orange mica is a bright, vibrant pigment that delivers a bold, warm shimmer to cosmetics and soaps. Its lively tone makes it perfect for eye-catching eyeshadows, lip products, blushes, and creative makeup looks, as well as decorative swirls and accents in soapmaking.
Mica is a fine mineral powder that reflects light to create a pearlescent effect on the skin. It is made by coating natural mica flakes with metal oxides such as titanium dioxide, iron oxide, or zirconium dioxide. The thickness of these oxide layers determines the final colour and intensity of the shimmer.
Particle size also influences the finish: smaller particles create a smooth satin sheen, while larger ones add sparkle and glitter. In clear M&P soap, Orange mica produces dazzling orange tones with maximum shimmer and depth. In opaque soaps, the colour is more muted but still creates stunning effects when swirled through or brushed onto the surface.
