Polysorbate 20
Used as a solubiliser to disperse small volumes of essential oils into water. Most commonly used to make products such as linen, room and body sprays.
Good for use in bath products to ensure essential oils are well dispersed in the bath water rather than pooling on top.
To use: Mix the polysorbate 20 with essential oils or fragrance oils before gently whisking it into the water phase. You will generally need at least 5 - 10 times as much polysorbate 20 as essential/fragrance oils, though it varies depending on the essential/fragrance oils being used so you will need to do some testing.
