Rose de Mai Absolute

Rose de Mai Absolute is a beautifully rich and concentrated floral extract produced from the flowers of Rosa centifolia. Prized in fine fragrance for its complex and sophisticated aroma, it has an intensely floral, sweet and unmistakably natural rose character.

Rose de Mai Absolute brings depth and elegance to perfumes, fragranced skincare, soaps and other aromatic formulations. Its concentrated nature means only a small amount is required to impart its distinctive rose fragrance.

Common uses

Perfumery: A beautiful natural floral material for perfumes, solid perfumes and fragrance blends. Its rich rose character works particularly well alongside other florals, citrus and woody notes.

Skincare and body care: Can be incorporated at low levels into suitable oil-based and emulsified formulations to add a luxurious natural rose fragrance.

Soapmaking: Adds a rich, natural floral note to handcrafted soaps. Use at up to 0.5% in bar soap.

Home fragrance: Suitable for compatible candles and other non-skin-contact fragrance applications where a rich, natural rose aroma is desired.

  • 5ml and 20ml amber glass bottle, with 18 neck dripulator cap, either white or black cap.
  • 30ml, 50ml, 100ml, 250ml amber glass bottle, with 28 neck white dripulator cap (except for oils that are too thick for a dripulator, which have a black open pour cap).
  • Our bulk volumes of essential oils come in the following packaging
  • 500g and 1kg options come in an aluminium bottle.
