It’s a versatile ingredient commonly used in skin care, hair care, and body products. Perfect as a facial mist, toner, or linen spray, or for use in water-based formulations in place of distilled water.
About Hydrosols:
Hydrosols are the pure co-product of steam distillation. When plant material is distilled to extract essential oil, the resulting steam condenses into aromatic water that contains tiny microdroplets of essential oil along with water-soluble compounds not present in the oil itself.
Hydrosols are gentle, making them ideal for direct use on the skin or as part of the water phase in formulations.
How to Use:
- As a facial mist or toner
- In room or pillow sprays
- As a water replacement in creams, lotions, serums, or cleansers
