Sage essential oil, certified organic

Sage (Salvia officinalis) is an evergreen perennial herb from the Lamiaceae family and is also known as common, garden, true, or Dalmatian sage. Native to the Mediterranean region, it grows to around 60cm tall with a woody base, soft grey-green leaves, and delicate blue to violet flowers. The leaves have been valued for centuries for their distinctive aromatic qualities and are steam distilled to produce a powerful, herbaceous essential oil.

History: Sage has a long history of traditional use across many cultures and was highly prized for its aromatic and purifying properties. It has been used in homes, rituals, and ceremonies for generations, with its earthy fragrance often associated with clarity, cleansing, and renewal.

Aromatic scent: Sage essential oil has a strong, fresh, herbaceous aroma with spicy and slightly camphoraceous undertones. Its bold scent makes it popular in diffuser blends designed to create a grounding and refreshing atmosphere.
