Teatree essential oil, certified organic
Description:
Teatree is a hardy shrub with fine, needle-like leaves. It can grow up to 7 metres tall and thrives in damp, marshy environments, though today it is widely cultivated on plantations. Known for its resilience, the plant produces a potent essential oil that has become a staple in natural health and cleaning products.
History:
Teatree oil has a rich history in aromatherapy and natural medicine. During World War II, production was considered so essential that teatree oil producers were exempt from military service until adequate supplies were secured. The oil was issued to soldiers and sailors as part of their standard kit, valued for its versatility and reliability.
