Trauma oil is a traditional herbal preparation made by blending three of the most popular infused oils: calendula, arnica, and hypericum (St John’s Wort). Each is renowned in herbal skincare for its soothing and conditioning qualities, and together they create a versatile oil that has become a staple in natural body care and massage.

Our trauma oil is crafted in Aotearoa New Zealand by blending calendula infused in sunflower oil, arnica infused in sunflower oil, and hypericum infused in both sunflower and olive oil. The result is a pale golden to green oil that delivers the benefits of all three herbs in a balanced, nourishing base.

This blend can be used on its own as a conditioning body oil, or incorporated into creams, balms, salves, massage blends, and other natural formulations. Its gentle, synergistic profile makes it suitable for most skin types.
