Tuberose essential oil, cosmetic grade
Tuberose is not botanically or aromatically related to rose. Its scent is rich and floral, often compared to gardenia and orange blossom, with warm, creamy, and slightly earthy undertones.
True tuberose absolute is one of the most expensive floral materials in perfumery, requiring over 1200kg of fresh tuberose blossoms to produce around 200g of absolute. As a result, tuberose is rarely available as a pure essential oil for general use.
This cosmetic grade tuberose oil is a fragrance material created using a blend of natural and/or nature-identical aromatic components. It is designed to closely replicate the characteristic aroma of tuberose in a more accessible and affordable format. While it does not offer the therapeutic properties associated with true absolutes, it performs exceptionally well as a fragrance ingredient.
Tuberose cosmetic grade oil is particularly well suited to cold process soapmaking, where its bold floral profile holds up well.
