Ultramarine Violet
Ultramarine violet is a cosmetic-grade, nature identical pigment that provides a soft yet vibrant purple hue. Known for its unique, pastel-like tone, it is widely used in colour cosmetics, particularly in eyeshadows, highlighters, and artistic makeup. Because of its high tinting strength, only a small amount is needed to achieve visible colour impact.
This pigment disperses well into formulations, producing consistent, long-lasting shades that do not bleed or fade. In mineral makeup, it is often used to add depth to purple and violet blends, while in soaps and other personal care products it imparts a soft lavender to mauve colour.
Because it is synthetically produced rather than mined, ultramarine violet avoids concerns about natural impurities while still delivering the same composition as its naturally occurring counterpart.
