Violet mica
Violet mica is a soft violet pigment with a silky satin pearlescent finish and a beautiful blue sheen that catches the light. Its delicate shimmer shifts between cool violet and luminous blue, adding depth and elegance to soaps, mineral makeup and cosmetics. It's perfect for floral, twilight and ethereal-inspired creations.
Mica is a fine mineral powder that reflects light to create a pearlescent effect on the skin. It is produced by coating natural and synthetic mica flakes with metal oxides and colour pigments. The resulting colour depends on the combination and thickness of these coatings, giving each mica its distinctive hue and luminous finish.
The finish also varies by particle size: fine particles create a smooth satin sheen, while larger particles enhance sparkle and glitter. In clear melt & pour soap, Violet mica creates beautiful translucent violet tones with a striking blue iridescence. In opaque soaps it produces soft lavender hues with an elegant pearlescent shimmer, making it ideal for decorative swirls and highlights.
