Certified Organic Witch Hazel is a naturally distilled botanical extract prepared from the twigs of Hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel). Harvested from wild-grown plants native to the woodlands of New England, this extract is distilled and preserved with 14% organic grain alcohol.
Witch hazel has been used in cosmetic formulations for over a century and remains a popular ingredient in facial toners, cleansers, body care products, aftershave formulations, and hair care products. Its naturally astringent character makes it a useful addition to products designed to leave the skin feeling refreshed and cleansed.
This certified organic witch hazel contains no synthetic preservatives and can be used on its own or incorporated into a wide range of water-based formulations.
