Lavender Balm Formula

Ingredients

Infused lavender oil

• 100g olive oil
• 10g dried lavender flowers

Balm

• Phase A
  • 84% | 84g lavender infused olive oil
  • 15% | 15g  NZ Organic Beeswax
• Phase B
  • 1% | 1g lavender essential oil

Method

Lavender oil infusion method

1. Combine olive oil and lavender flowers.
2. Heat very gently for 30 mins.
3. Strain in a cloth, squeezing out all the oil from the flowers.

Balm method

1. Gently melt Phase A ingredients together.
2. Take off the heat and add Phase B.
3. Stir to combine.
4. Pour into a container and leave to set. Check out our range of Glass Pots.

Note

The essential oils used are volatile oils and will reach their flashpoint if heated.
At their flashpoint the oils will flash flame. SO DON'T HEAT THEM PLEASE.
