Oat Melt & Pour Soap Formula 

Ingredients

Makes 1 loaf mould – Adjust batch volume with Go Native NZ’s Batch Size Calculator 

• 1kg of white M&P soap base 
  
• 100g cocoa butter
  
• Rolled Oats (as desired) 

Method

Stovetop: Melt the soap base over the stove in a glass jar.
Microwave: Melt the cubes in a heat-safe container in the microwave in 30-second bursts.

1. Melt the two together and stir to blend
2. When melted, allow it to cool a bit, about 30ish seconds. Then add the rolled oats and stir to combine. (you can add them as they are or grind them to a finer consistency
3. Pour when it is thickening to prevent the cocoa butter from separating
4. Pour the soap mixture into the mould
5. Allow the soap to set for about 4 hours, then you can unmould. Good to leave it overnight.
