Rainforest Body Butter Formula 

Ingredients

Makes 200g - Adjust batch volume with Go Native NZ’s Batch Size Calculator

Phase A

• 65% | 130g water

Phase B

• 10% | 20g Organic walnut oil
• 6% | 12g Shea butter, wildcrafted
• 6% | 12g Cocoa butter, organic natural
• 6% | 12g Coconut oil, organic virgin
• 6% | 12g Emulsifier O

Phase C

• 1% | 2g  preservative ( Geogard 221 or Microcare DB)

Method

1. In separate pots heat both Phase A and Phase B to 65°C. 
2. When both are at 65°C pour Phase B into Phase A and blend until thick.
3. Allow to cool to 40°C.
4. Add Phase C and blend again.

Note

It’s a shame to use any perfume in this one as the cocoa butter smells so good.
If you want a different odour, use cosmetic deodorised cocoa butter (so that the natural chocolate scent doesn't overwhelm the final product) and 1% | 2g of Essential oil or Fragrance oil - Take the 1% out of the water Phase A.
