Coco Caprylate
A light, fast-spreading, naturally derived emollient that gives slip and a silky after-feel. Often used as a silicone alternative, it helps reduce heaviness in rich formulas, improves spreadability, and leaves a soft, dry touch. Coco Caprylate also wets powders and pigments well, making it useful in colour cosmetics and hair products where a lightweight finish is desired.
Made from plant sources and readily biodegradable. Our supply uses sustainable RSPO Mass Balance palm feedstock.
How to use
Add to the oil phase (or cool-down) of creams, lotions, serums, oils, cleansing balms/oils, make-up, and hair care. Typical use 2–20% (can be used higher as the main emollient, as needed). Exceptional in anhydrous oil serums: it softens the feel of richer oils, boosts glide, and helps create a feather-light finish that absorbs beautifully without tack.
