Hypericum (Hypericum perforatum), commonly known as St John’s Wort, is a perennial plant with oil-rich leaves and bright golden-yellow, five-petalled flowers. It has a long history of traditional use across Europe and beyond, particularly in topical preparations.

Our Hypericum infused oil is crafted in New Zealand by steeping dried hypericum herbs in high-quality extra virgin olive oil. This process produces a golden-yellow oil that captures the properties of the herb in a stable, nourishing carrier base.

Used in skincare, Hypericum infused oil is valued as a conditioning and soothing ingredient. It can be applied directly to the skin or incorporated into formulations such as balms, salves, massage oils, creams, and lotions.
