Kawakawa (Macropiper excelsum) is native to Aotearoa New Zealand and holds deep cultural and historical significance, particularly within rongoā Māori (traditional medicine). Māori have long used kawakawa leaves in a variety of ways, including infusing them in oil.

Our kawakawa infused oil is created by steeping fresh kawakawa leaves in extra virgin olive oil, producing a dark green liquid rich in essential fatty acids and naturally occurring antioxidants. It is valued in skincare for its moisturising and skin-conditioning properties, and is commonly used in moisturisers, balms, and lotions to help support the skin’s natural barrier.
