Natural Solubiliser (Palm Free)
Product description: A non-ionic surfactant made from coconut fatty alcohols and corn-derived glucose, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside is a naturally derived, mild solubiliser ideal for water-based formulations. It’s PEG-free, sulfate-free, and suitable for sensitive skin, making it a popular alternative to polysorbates. This ingredient disperses essential oils, fragrances, and oil-soluble actives into water while boosting foam and enhancing cleansing performance. It’s widely used in micellar waters, facial cleansers, toners, and body or room sprays.
How to use product: To solubilise essential oils and fragrances, start with a 5:1 ratio of solubiliser to oil and adjust as needed—some oils may require up to 10:1.
In cleansing formulas, use up to 15%. Always mix the solubiliser with the oil phase first before incorporating it into water.
