This bath bomb recipe features cocoa butter for a luxurious and moisturising soak. Blending baking soda and citric acid, it fizzes in the water while the cocoa butter melts, leaving your skin feeling soft and hydrated.

Bath Bomb With Cocoa Butter Formula
Ingredients
- 450g Baking soda
- 226g Citric acid
- 6g melted Cocoa butter
- 6g Colouring (optional)
- 6g Add your Essential oils & Fragrance oils
- Witchhazel (in a mister bottle)
Method
- Blend the baking soda and citric acid very well.
- Add melted cocoa butter, colour and fragrance and blend.
- Spritz lightly with Witchhazel using a Mister Bottle Attachment, blending between sprays until the mixture reaches the consistency of wet sand.
- It should clump in your hand when you squeeze it.
- Pack very tightly into the 2 halves of the bath bomb mould. Press together. Wipe away any excess mixture.
- Press the mould gently and the balls will pop out.
- Leave to dry for 48 hours.
Note
The wonderful thing about this Bath Bomb recipe is you can adapt it, an easy rule of thumb is to start with the basic bath salt recipe and add your dried petals, herbs and essential oil, keep the ingredients simple.
