Kukui Lip Tint Formula

Ingredients

Makes 10g - Adjust batch volume with Go Native NZ's Batch Size Calculator

40% | 4g Kukui oil
40% | 4g Coconut oil
20% | 2g White beeswax
1/32 tsp Rouge red (D&C Red Lake 7)*

*We have used volume measurement here rather than weight as the powder is so light it won't register on the scales. You can get these small measurements using our mini measuring spoons

Method

Gently melt all ingredients
Pour into containers. Check out our range of Glass Pots

Note

You can remove the colour to make a colourless lip balm.
You can also add more rouge red for a greater depth of colour. Though please note that this is only intended to be a subtle tint, adding too much colour can cause the final product colour to bleed on the lips as it does not contain the stabilising ingredients of a lipstick.
