Old Rose Bath Salts Formula 

Ingredients

• 1 cup Epsom salts
• 1 cup Dead sea salt
• 10 drops Rose essential oil, cosmetic grade
• 3 drops  Lavender essential oil
• 2 drops Clove bud essential oil
• 10 drops red food colouring (optional)
• Add Dried Rose Petals or Dried Lavender Flowers or a little sparkle with Gold sparkle mica
  
  

Method

1. Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and blend until you are happy with the colour.
2. Pour the salts into a clear glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.
3. Shake every day for a week.

To Use

Add 1/4 cup of the salts to running bath water.

The wonderful thing about this recipe is you can adapt it, an easy rule of thumb is to start with the basic bath salt recipe and add your dried petals, herbs and essential oil, keep the ingredients simple

Please note that food colouring can sometimes stain bathtubs or at least require extra cleaning.
